Pictures by Lena – Edit by me

It might have been countless times that I started to edit this post, but up until now, I never really managed to finish, let alone start. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it’s the last real outfit post from New York, and with me not being ready to admit that it’s really over. Or maybe the explanation is as simple as admitting that I am just plain exhausted. Ever since I touched German ground, my life has been a rollercoaster ride – literally, and figuratively.
After six months of internships, I would have needed a vacation, but instead bounced right back into normal gear. Appointments, family reunions, roadtrips, paper deadlines, Octoberfest madness, and real-life rollercoaster-birthday-bashes – that’s a quick run down of my past two weeks right there! Needless to say, I haven’t slept in once and struggle to keep my eyes open as I am writing this in between classes…no rest for the wicked, I guess!
However, I remember how I excited I was for this post because it’s been one of the coolest locations I got to shoot pictures while my stay in New York. When you visit the city, a stroll over the bridges is an absolute must-do. I’ve crossed the Brooklyn Bridge at all day and night-times now, so I wanted to do something less-tourist-obvious and I LOVED IT! Williamsburg is one of the coolest areas in New York, and it goes without saying that the Williamsburg bridge does her part! Just looking at these shots makes me so damn nostalgic…I love New York today, and I will love it tomorrow! x
