2015 Favs

Let’s skip the „can you believe another year has passed“ bla-bla, because let’s be honest…who really can? 2015 has been some kind of a rollercoaster for me, with lots of ups and downs, milestones reached and lessons learned. I finished my degree, dove right into an early twenties crisis and got to see a lot of great places all over the world. Dreams came true, dreams got crushed, and new dreams took their place. I didn’t blog nearly has much as I could have/ should have, but hey – I’m still here. And if you’re reading this that means you’re still here, too! Personally and professionally 2015 might have been a rollercoaster but popculturally there’s really just one thing left to say:

„We’re on a rollercoaster that only goes up, my friend!“

Without further a doe, here’s what I loved, listened to, obsessed over, read, cried and laughed about!

Let’s be real: a lot of things supposedly broke the Internet this year, but lo and behold, it still exists. Between Kardashian Asse(t)s and Hot(line Bling) Dance Moves, there was a lot of good going on for the iGeneration.

# Matt Bellassai

aka. my new-found spirit animal bringing joy to Wednesdays and the World (if you haven’t watched Whine About It religiously every week, you should do yourself a favor and catch up on all episodes stat – you’re welcome!)

# James Corden

Carpool Karaoke is the gift that keeps on giving, and since it made the world fall back in love with the Biebs, I am all here for it. The video currently has 46 Million views, half of which are probably mine.

# The Kardashian-Jenners

They’re everywhere. And I love it. It’s no secret I’m an avid follower of the bunch, and sometimes I think I’m keeping up better with them than I am with my own life, but I find them highly entertaining. Plus, hate them all you want – they’re smart, HILARIOUS business-women kicking ass left and right, and we’re all watching whether we like it or not!

2015 has been musically blessed, and I’m sure I’ve bought more albums than ever before in my life. This is a fraction of those, but probably the ones I listened to the most!
